We are a team inside and outside work

Bilbao witnessed the closing of Gamesa Gearbox’s sports season this past weekend, with the participation of two teams of runners from our plants in Asteasu, Burgos, Lerma, Mungia and Zamudio in the company race that runs through the city.

This race was not the only event in which Gamesa Gearbox has been present this season. Several workers have represented us in different competitions: the second San Mamés Football Tournament; the paddle tennis tournament in which Aritz Marcos and Iñaki Paris from the Asteasu plant took part; the Biarritz marathon, successfully completed by Diego Arauzo (Burgos); and the Vitoria half marathon, with the participation of Julio Moreno (Burgos).

In all the events we have had representation from many of our departments, such as Production (machining, assembly, test bench, command line…), Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, HSE and Projects, giving a great example of teamwork. Thanks to all the people who have participated!
